Robert Keyes 

Robert Keyes is a Director of Photography and Storyteller with extensive experience across the USA, UK, and Europe.

His work blends a documentarian’s authenticity with a cinematic eye, capturing stories that reveal the human side of culture, craft, and creativity. Currently, Robert works on behalf of the Air Line Pilots Association, International as an in-house Video & Multimedia Production Specialist. 

Prior credits also include contributions to major productions such as Disney’s Lilo & Stitch and Moana, as well as DP credits for several Netflix documentary series, United Healthcare, the First Responders Network and Koch Industries. 
 

Currently based in the Northern Virginia area, Robert is known for bringing a calm, technical precision to high-pressure environments, alongside the creative intuition needed to make every frame resonate. On a daily basis, Robert leads high-stakes field and studio productions and delivers polished, narrative-driven messaging on tight turnarounds. 

With an exceptional track record of solving problems and  implementing robust solutions, Robert is a keen learner, and additional experiences include the design and build-out of permanent studio spaces, multi-camera PTZ networks, signal routing frameworks, live broadcasting, lighting design and custom-engineered camera & lighting rigs. 
 

Recent corporate roles include Video Production Manager for Tuckernuck, where he shaped the visual identity of one of America’s fastest-growing lifestyle brands; Video & Photo Lead for Maui Divers Jewelry in Honolulu, producing cinematic campaigns celebrating Hawaiian craftsmanship; and Video Production Manager for Stand Together in Washington, DC, where his storytelling work reached business leaders, NFL athletes, and social entrepreneurs nationwide.
 

Earlier in his career, Robert produced educational films for Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge), Harper Adams University, and the Oxford University Press.
